Would you like to:
- Check eligibility and benefits verifications for treatments and procedures
- Review patient bills for accuracy, completeness and obtain missing information
- Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing
- Follow up on unpaid claims
- Check insurance payments for accuracy and compliance
- Review accounts for insurance of patient follow-up
- Research and appeal denied claims
Ideally you have:
- High School diploma or GED
- CPC
- Minimum of one year of recent medical coding experience
- EHR/EMR experience
- Prior medical office experience
- Accurate computer/data entry skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
