HR/Payroll Coordinator

Would you like to:
- Be point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, internal and external
- Process bi-weekly payroll with 3rd party processing entity; produce month end payroll reporting, reconciliations
- Manage all payroll information for transmission to third party payroll processor
- Maintain leave balance spreadsheets
- Track union employees’ enrollment, dues & benefits
- Administer HR plans and procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot electronic time-keeping system
- Organize corporate benefit programs
- Advise management in employee relations issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
Ideally you have:
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate degree in accounting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in HR and/or Payroll related field
- Experience in Workday HCM, ABI MasterMind, ADP Payroll Processing preferred, or similar software applications
- Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience
- Computerized payroll experience; familiarity with payroll-related labor laws
- 1-2 years of HR generalist experience preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Accurate filing skills
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, friendly courteous demeanor
- Ability to work additional hours as needed, including weekends
- Ability to keep confidential information secure
