Join the Alaska Chamber for the 2014 Community Outreach Trip. Strike gold with a visit to this year's destination Nome, Alaska… the termination of the Last Great Race and Alaska’s gateway to the Bering Sea and the Arctic.

In 2011, 34 ships transported a total of 820,000 tons along the Northern Sea Route. In 2012, those numbers swelled to 46 ships and 1.3 million tons. Geological surveys estimate that 13 percent of the world's undiscovered oil and 30 percent of undiscovered natural gas reserves are located in the Arctic Circle. The world’s attention is turning north toward the opportunities the Arctic will provide.
