This position blends accounting fundamentals with analytical work, helping translate complex data into clear, actionable information for leadership and operations teams.
Your day to day:
- Tracking equipment costs, lifecycle benchmarks, and fleet utilization
- Supporting budgets, forecasts, and equipment rate development
- Preparing accurate financial and operational reports
- Partnering with operations to ensure data accuracy and inform decisions
- Maintaining detailed cost and utilization records
- Assisting with audits and internal process improvements
What you need:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or cost engineering
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Familiarity with Sage or other ERP systems is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong Excel skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Clear written and verbal communication
