Home of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race^™.  Race held first Saturday in March each year, 4th & D Sts., downtown Anchorage.

Race headquarters in Wasilla, 2100 S. Knik-Goose Bay Rd.   Display room, race video, gift shop.  Summer hrs.: 9-5 daily. Musher with dog team cart rides available mid-May to mid-September, 9-5 daily, $10 per person.   $10 admission fee, good towards cart ride or merchandise purchase. Winter hrs.: October - Dec.: open Wed. only 9-5. Jan-mid-May: M-F, 9-5.
